主讲嘉宾：Phillip Szuromi （Science 副主编）
Dr. Szuromi helps supervise the team of physical sciences editors. His areas of responsibility are the review and publication of papers primarily in chemistry, physics, applied physics, and materials science; he also handled papers in biochemistry, molecular biology, structural biology, and atmospheric science. Dr. Szuromi obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Caltech. He then joined NIST as a National Research Council Postdoctoral Fellow before joining Science. In 2004, he was made a Fellow of AAAS in Chemistry.
报告题目：Scientific Publishing From the Inside Out 
报告摘要：This talk will cover a brief overview of the mission of AAAS and the Science family of journals, then discuss how the review process works at Science and how to write a paper for the general audience, and finally, offer some thoughts on what the editors are look for in a submission to help potential authors gauge the suitability of a submission.
