【学校介绍】
法赫德国王石油与矿业大学（King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals-KFUPM）1963年成立，位于沙特阿拉伯石油和工业中心城市宰赫兰市（Dhahran），毗邻全球最大的石油天然气公司阿美石油公司（Saudi Aramco）。学校以其自然科学与工程专业而世界闻名，QS2025年全球排名67位，化学工程系全球排名48位，雄踞阿拉伯国家榜首，被誉为“沙特的清华大学”与“中东的MIT”。

【负责人介绍】
Professor Jie Liu is a distinguished professor at KFUPM currently and was the George B Geller Professor of Chemistry at Duke University. He earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Shandong University in 1987 and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Harvard University in 1996. His research interests include synthesis and chemical functionalization of nanomaterials, plasmonic catalysis, nanoelectronic devices, scanning probe microscopy, and carbon nanomaterials. He was elected as a Fellow in AAAS (2013), APS (2014), and RSC (2013). He also served as an associate editor for the RSC journal Nanoscale between 2012 and2018. He has been an associate editor for Nano Research since 2018.
