Dr. Yassmin Seidahmed is hiring postdoctoral fellows. Dr. Yassmin Seidahmed is an assistant professor at Mechanical Engineering, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. The contract of the postdoctoral fellow will be two years and renewable. The ideal candidate should meet the following specific requirements:
• Recent PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, polymer manufacturing/processing, or a closely related field from a reputable university (QS 200).
• Excellent academic record.
• Strong publication track record in high-impact-factor journals, preferably with an impact factor higher than 8.
• Demonstrated expertise in additive manufacturing of polymer composites.
• Proven experience in numerical simulation and modeling using tools such as ABAQUS, COMSOL, or similar advanced software.
• Experience in mechanical characterization, testing, and analysis of composite materials.
• Strong ability to conduct independent research and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent scientific writing and communication skills.
